I am trying to stream a radio station, but I am not able to download the app for this radio station. Not compatible, as Samsung uses Tizen. I would never have bought a Samsung if I had known this.

I opened a contract with Vodacom in 2023 and chose the Samsung Flip5 as my device. Within the first year (2024), the screen broke, and Vodacom replaced it under warranty.

However, just a few months later in 2025, the screen broke againthis time, just after the warranty expired in August 2025.

Now, Im left with a broken phone and an entire year left to pay off my contract for a device I can barely use. Im extremely disappointed with the durability of the Samsung Flip5, especially given its premium price tag.

Foldable phones should be able to last at least through the contract period.

I expected more from both Vodacom and Samsung. This experience has left me questioning the value of signing long-term contracts and the reliability of foldable phones.

I bought the Samsung 45L Convection Microwave Oven MC456TBRCSR from HiFi Corporation at Greenacres, Port Elizabeth, on 29 June 2024, and Ive been extremely disappointed with the quality and performance.

Within the first 56 months, the entire outer cover of the door, including the mirror finish and handle, came off. From the start, bits of ceramic coating flaked off near the door hinge.

The door also creaks terribly, sounding like the Titanic sinking not what you'd expect from a major brand.

The interior light failed within six months, and the microwave is noticeably underpowered for a 900-watt unit. The instruction manual is poorly written and largely unhelpful.

On inspecting the door, I found that the plastic clips holding the handle cover are made of flimsy plastic, which appears to have become brittle from the ovens heat.

Theres barely anything substantial securing the door together. Ive tried putting the cover back on, but it doesnt stayits clearly worn down and unable to withstand normal oven temperatures, which it should have been designed for.

Also, the oven lacks a roast setting for meat, forcing me to rely on a meat thermometer.

Now Im seeing this model regularly popping up on Facebook Marketplace, and I suspect some people may be gluing the doors back on to resell thema serious red flag for potential buyers.

Made enquiry with Samsung/Hirsch Cavendish. dealt with Deven & Chantelle. Installers came & assessed. Advised. And wala! Bought and being installed now. Deven checked on installers arrival time

Samsung Bad after service

I bought a brand-new Samsung washing machine that had issues from the very first use. Ive logged the same fault seven times, and each time Samsung closed the call without fixing anything.

Their technician couldnt find the issue, and instead of taking responsibility, they blamed me for not maintaining a machine Ive never even used. Even Makro, where I bought it, couldnt help because Samsung wouldnt take action.

Its been months with no resolutionjust a faulty machine and no support. For such a big brand, Samsung clearly does not care about after-sales service.

Purchased a Samsung fridge /freezer combo from Hirsch's 4 years ago for R14000.00. The freezer stopped working and after paying Hirsch's technician R750.00 to repair the fridge ,they said it is unrepairable.

Samsung collected the fridge and also told me it is unrepairable.

They offered to replace the fridge if i paid in R8700.00. I think it is unreasonable for a fridge to only last 4 years

Defect Washing machine

Last year I bought a washing machines+dryer 9kg. The shop I bought it.

They sold defect Washing machine with me. More than 3 times the technician check it. But now they saw the defect. From the first washed the machine drum was defect.

Is it Samsung company fault or the resellers? Who is at lost? Me! I would like they refund me a new washing machine I have proof from the first washed weird loud sound.

The showroom I bought it is in Mauritius and the name is 361.

Rs 36,000 I bought it. I could use it because the sound is too loudly.

I phoned 2 x times for help with software issue..from about 09h00 to 11hoo.

Firts I spoke to Ismeal at the call center (0860 726 ****)..second call I spoke to a lady at the same station who made an appointment with me for 13h00.

Just to hear the call centre is closed..

This is unexceptable ..I want to take it further..

I ordered a tablet on the 25th of October it was meant to be delivered but the address was wrong the driver said I opened the pack and said it is not my ordered. Which is a lie he never came till this day when I call I'm being sent from one pillar to post no tablet no communication but pay just now is debiting really this is unacceptable from a reputable company

I eventually called them to try and resolve moisture issues but they kept asking me the same question. I did tell them over and over my phone has never been close to humidity and or water etc but kept with same question.I need to fix the issue as phone is only a year old and was giving problems from November.
